    Presentation Description:

Susan Shald Gallup Director Talent Acquisition will lead us through the Cliff notes of Gallup’s new book – It’s the Manager

Workplaces are experiencing extraordinary disruption.  But the practice of management has been stuck for decades.  It’s time for a change.

Lean management and Six Sigma once fixed U.S. and global production quality, but the biggest economic challenge your organization faces now isn’t your process or fixing defects – it’s maximizing human potential.  You not only need to maximize human potential to create organic growth in your company, but today’s evolving workforce demands it.

You need answers to the questions like:

    ·        How do I create an agile and adaptive workforce that can take advantage of disruption and market opportunities fast?

    ·        How do I recruit and onboard the right people in a tight labor market?

    ·        How do I keep and grow my stars?

    ·        How do I hire and develop great managers?

It’s the Manager is a playbook that every manager or team leader in an organization can use to turn performance management into performance development.
