SHRM Foundation
The SHRM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The Foundation is a legally separate organization, and is not funded by SHRM membership dues.
The SHRM Foundation's work includes:
- Innovative Academic Research Grants;
- Scholarships; and
- Educational Resources.
To fund its programs, the SHRM Foundation conducts an annual fundraising campaign and accepts donations from supporters such as the HR Certification Institute, the Society for Human Resource Management and the J.J. Keller Foundation as well as contributions from chapters, state councils, individuals, corporations and others who make their work possible. SHRM Foundation Scholarships for SHRM Members
The SHRM Foundation awards a total of $100,000 annually in scholarships for SHRM professional members pursuing degrees or certification. In addition, SHRM professional chapters and state councils are eligible to compete for the certification scholarship to fund programs promoting certification.
