Businesses are impacted by diversity regardless of their location, but the challenges vary based on the demographics of the area.  A common challenge within Montana companies is managing and capitalizing on the diverse generations in the current workforce. This training will provides insights into the general perspectives of the generations, what this means relative to teaming, and how HR can assist company leaders in managing the multi-generational employee population.

There are many less obvious individual traits that people tend to make prejudgments about both candidates and current employees.  We will explore how we can identify these prejudgments, to prevent missing opportunities with either continued or new talent within the organization.  Additionally, we will discuss how we can bring diversity into the organization’s culture by aligning diversity goals within the mission statement and core values and overall strategy.

An organization can’t just put this in writing and be done, it also needs to be infused into the culture, so we will close by discussing how we can develop and sustain inclusion, by bringing diversity to life within the organization.  This will be achieved by providing tips and best practices on how to engage employees in an inclusive environment which capitalizes on the strengths and experiences of a diverse workforce.
