    Generally, the GVHRA meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except for July and August) according to the following schedule:

    11:15 a.m.—11:30 a.m.: Registration
    11:30 a.m.—Noon: Lunch
    Noon– 1:00 p.m.: PRESENTATION

    Spending time in meetings is a fact of the modern work environment.  This workshop will discuss strategies for conducting effective and efficient meetings.  Concepts discussed include principles of good governance, parliamentary procedure, ground rules and rules of procedure.

    Dan Clark has spent 17 years building capacity for rual Montana Communities.  Dan currently is the Director of Montana State University's Local Government Center.  Previously, Dan served Statewide Director for the Montana Horizons program; he currently serves as the chair of the Montana Community Foundation Board; he served as Mayor of Choteau and was a Teton County Extention agent for 9 years.


    RSVPs are requested by the Monday prior to the presentation.  To make a reservation, please contact our Membership Chair.  Also, let us know when you RSVP if you will need any accomodation.

    The hotel requires a 48 hours confirmation for catered events.  RSVPs help the GVHRA board, presenter, facility and food providers to accomodate all attendees.  Members who make a reservation and DO NOT attend will be charged.  Additionally, copies of presentation materials and food may not be available for those who do not RSVP.
