Don Small is a 30-year seasoned systems sales representative, consultant, trainer, leader, team builder and technology enthusiast!

At J&H, he is responsible for a team that develops, manages and grows accounts in the Montana & northern Wyoming regional marketplace. He had the pleasure of working with many of the premier organizations in this region: state government, most hospitals, and many of the most influential employers in the greater Montana region.

He has a passion for helping clients control labor costs by implementing Kronos solutions – the best workforce management technologies – and doing it using best practices. Admittedly, he is a detail person and committed to excellence. He is simply not satisfied until his customer gets the most out of their system. Those qualities have helped him find success and have helped his clients do the same.

In addition to an extensive sales background, he also has a strong technical side. His service experience includes implementing many different Kronos products, and presales support. He managed the transition of their services team from fixed fee to a professional services consulting model. He has been a trainer and training manager. Over the years he has managed all of the Kronos staff at J&H at one time or another.

In the competitive marketplace, he finds the most success when he cultivates mutual business relationships with senior executives. His consultative selling techniques help him propose the most creative and effective business solution for each client. He also believes that the best decisions are made when considering what is best for the client in the long term. He knows that if he focuses on the client’s best interest, he never has to focus on his. This philosophy has allowed him to experience several clients develop into personal friends.

In his off time, he enjoys playing his Fender Stratocaster guitar at church, camping the Rocky Mountains and traveling someplace warm in winter!
