    Generally, the GVHRA meetings are held according to the following schedule; however, please refer to the specific meeting flyer as dates/times/locations are subject to change.

    11:15 a.m.—11:30 a.m.: Registration
    11:30 a.m.—Noon: Lunch
    Noon– 1:00 p.m.: PRESENTATION

    Mike will discuss important changes and updates to the Affordable Care Act and what to expect in 2016 and beyond.  He will focus on benefit implications, reporting, current and future penalties, and challenges to the law that could impact HR.  

    BIO:  Mike Bonville’s role as a consultant allows him to work with large and midsize employers to help them harness their employees’ potential. Whether working on benefit programs, population health management, or an organization’s culture, Mike’s experience, education, and background is an asset to his clients as they work collaboratively to develop synergies between overall organizational objectives and the people who fulfill them.

    Mike began his career in benefits in 2002 at a national insurance carrier, and he has held a number of roles in the benefits industry including sales, marketing, brokerage sales, underwriting, and policy administration. From 2009 to 2014 Mike worked at a well-respected specialty benefit carrier, most recently as a regional sales manager where his role was to guide the sales team in existing markets and lead an expansion into new markets. Mike’s experience working for benefit carriers gives him firsthand experience with both health and ancillary benefits, which allows him to bring a keen understand to his clients’ overall benefits and how they impact employees’ lives.

    Mike graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. In 2010 Mike earned his MBA from Babson College, where he concentrated on Entrepreneurial Finance. Mike’s wife is a fifth generation Montanan, and a Naturopathic Physician practicing in Bozeman, MT. The Bonvilles have two boys, and the family enjoys spending their free time exploring the mountains, rivers and forests of Montana.

     


    To make a reservation, please click on the "Reservations" tab on the website, then search for the appropriate meeting date (reservation links are active two weeks prior to the event and close the Monday prior to the event).  Also, let us know when you RSVP if you will need any accomodation.

    The hotel requires a 48 hours confirmation for catered events.  RSVPs help the GVHRA board, presenter, facility and food providers to accomodate all attendees.  Members who make a reservation and DO NOT attend will be charged.  Additionally, copies of presentation materials and food may not be available for those who do not RSVP.
