The Art of Conflict Resolution: Respecting the Communication Iceberg Conflict management is many leaders’ most dreaded responsibility, but it doesn’t have to be! The secret to real, lasting conflict resolution is found in the Communication Iceberg, a simple yet very effective tool created by Dr. Annie B. Wilson.  Using the Communication Iceberg, leaders are developing understanding and resolving conflict among leaders and between employees. It is an easy to understand, powerful tool that enables HR professionals to be confident, compassionate leaders who quickly and effectively address conflict whenever it arises.

Objectives: Participants will gain a clear understanding of how to prepare for and facilitate conversations with people who are in conflict with each other, people who frighten or intimidate others and/or people whose behavior needs to change in order to meet organizational goals.

Bio: Annie B. Wilson, Ph.D., is the first communication expert to explain how we can resolve conflict and confusion by aligning the mind, body, heart and spirit. Audiences appreciate Annie's engaging stories and profound, yet easy to understand, concepts.

Dr. Wilson is a recognized expert in communication and conflict resolution, and the award-winning author of The Secret Life of Communication: Opening to Unlimited Love.  Over the past two decades, her clients have included large healthcare organizations, financial institutions and many non-profit organizations.  To bring humor and clarity to her presentations, Dr. Wilson draws on her experience as a human resources professional, director of organizational development in a large healthcare organization, public speaker, and personal development coach.
