This presentation will highlight the Montana Supreme Court's major 2011 employment law decisions, including several wrongful termination and worker's compensation cases, employees' expectation of privacy, and two matters of first impression: Wrigg v. Junkermeir et al., which deals with private employer non-compete covenants and Brown v. Yellowstone Club Operations, which addresses limited-term employment agreements.  Time permitting, the presentation will also cover three recent U.S. Supreme Court cases involving unlawful discrimination and retaliation, and provisions of the ADA Amendments Act, which took effect in May 2011 and expand the number of employees who will meet the definition of disability.
